Carrie Arnold papers 1975-2000

The collection includes pencil and pen and ink drawings of several small towns in Wyoming and a church in Colorado. These were done on commission to the donor Bill Lagos who used the images for Christmas cards.

Carrie Arnold was born near Greeley, Colorado in 1944, and she died of cancer in 1998. She attended the University of Northern Colorado and then moved to Denver in 1965. She founded a successful petroleum map business, which she sold in 1972. She and her husband owned and ran the Fort Restaurant. She was a Western History and Colorado railroad buff, serving on the board of the Denver Public Library. She was a vice president of the Denver HO Model Railroad Club, and she s...
